Acoustic Enclosures, Screens & Booths

Flakt Woods Fans supplies a variety of enclosure designs depending on the construction and maintenance needs of the plant to be silenced and its operational environment.

The proprietory Soundseal modular enclosure system consists of standard Galvabond finish acoustic panels either 50 or 100mm thick with inter-locking roof, wall and door sections providing a lightweight, cost efficient design able to be modified or relocated as desired.

Where site conditions or design requirements mean a demountable design is impractical, a drop-over canopy or build-on-site enclosure can be supplied.

Enclosures can also incorporate standard doors and windows, custom designed ventilation systems, weatherproofing and alternative surface finishes allowing design versatility to meet almost any application, including use as stand-alone noise refuges in factories.

Industrial Silencers

Years of experience with both reactive and absorptive industrial silencers allows Flakt Woods Fans to select the optimum unit for your application.

Designs can allow for dirty, corrosive, abrasive or moisture-laden gases over a wide range temperatures and environmental conditions found in applications such as power stations, cement, chemical plants, petrochemical or mining installations.

Available in either rectangular or circular configuration, silencer construction is matched to both environmental, access and maintenance requirements with removable or replaceable absorptive/splitter elements available on most designs.

Steam-vent and gas blow-off silencers are supplied with heavy inlet diffusers and either galvanised or stainless steel construction to ensure reliable service in boiler, process plant or primary industry applications such as Sugar Mills, Co-generation Installations and Petrochemical Plants.
